Scott Seedorf is a managing partner of O’Donoghue & O’Donoghue LLP, working out of the firm’s offices in Washington, D.C. and Annapolis, Maryland. He serves as the General Counsel of the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada, AFL-CIO (“UA”), a position to which he was appointed effective January 1, 2025, following six-and-a-half years as UA Deputy General Counsel.

As General Counsel, Mr. Seedorf oversees all aspects of the UA’s legal affairs and manages a team of attorneys who advise and represent the organization in collective bargaining, contract administration, matters of internal governance, organizing and recruitment, and proceedings before the courts, the National Labor Relations Board, the U.S. Department of Labor and other bodies. In addition, Mr. Seedorf works closely with UA leadership on strategic initiatives, legislative and political issues, and various other matters. He also regularly speaks at conferences, seminars, and other events on behalf of the UA.

Mr. Seedorf serves on the Board of Directors and the Lawyers Advisory Panel of the AFL-CIO Union Lawyers Alliance and is a member of multiple bar associations. Mr. Seedorf graduated from Wake Forest University in 2003 and the Wake Forest University School of Law in 2006. He is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Maryland.
