A partner in the firm, Nicholas R. Femia graduated with honors from Princeton University in 1980.  After obtaining a Master’s Degree from Columbia University, Mr. Femia enrolled in New York University Law School, where he was Articles Editor of the Journal of International Law, and from which he graduated in 1984.

A member of the Bars of the District of Columbia, Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Mr. Femia’s practice involves a wide range of litigation and counseling to the firm’s labor clients.  He has litigated in state and federal courts and agencies throughout the country, including cases arising under the National Labor Relations Act, the Labor Management Reporting and Disclosure Act, and Title VII.

Mr. Femia has been active in the American Bar Association’s Section of Labor and Employment Law.  He was instrumental in developing the Section’s “EEO Basics” program, and has been an editor of the Section’s EEO treatise, as well as a frequent speaker at the Section’s meetings.
