Kathleen Bichner joined the firm as an associate in September 2016, after completing a one-year clerkship with the Honorable Jack M. Sabatino, Appellate Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey. Ms. Bichner had previously worked as a law clerk in the firm’s Philadelphia office, the city where she was born and raised.

Since joining the firm, Ms. Bichner has been involved in a variety of practice areas, including matters arising under the NLRA, the LMRDA, and ERISA, as well as issues involving other federal, state and local laws. She assists in representing clients in federal and state court actions, and before administrative bodies such as the NLRB. Ms. Bichner’s practice also includes advising the firm’s labor union and employee benefit fund clients regarding regulatory compliance and internal affairs.

Ms. Bichner graduated summa cum laude from the Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law in 2015, where she was an executive editor for the Drexel Law Review. In the summer of 2014, she served as a Peggy Browning Fellow for the Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local 1 PA-DE in Philadelphia. During her final year of law school, she represented and argued on behalf of a pro bono client in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, prompting her selection at graduation for the faculty award for outstanding achievements in experiential education.

Ms. Bichner received her undergraduate degree magna cum laude from the Pennsylvania State University in 2012. She is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.
