Daniel Keenan joined O’Donoghue & O’Donoghue LLP as an Associate in August 2018. Prior to becoming an Associate, Mr. Keenan represented labor union and employee benefit fund clients at a Philadelphia law firm. Mr. Keenan was born and raised in Philadelphia in union household, and is proud to represent working class families, the labor unions that represent them, and the employee benefit funds that serve them.
Mr. Keenan represents the firm’s employee-benefit fund clients in litigation arising under ERISA, and other federal statutes. He is also involved in labor-related arbitrations and litigation involving the NLRA and LMRDA, as well as issues involving other federal, state and local laws on behalf of the firm’s labor clients.
Mr. Keenan graduated from Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law in 2016. Prior attending law school, Mr. Keenan graduated from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, where he studied political science, history and business entrepreneurship. During law school, Mr. Keenan served as a law clerk in O’Donoghue & O’Donoghue LLP’s Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Office for two years.
Mr. Keenan is admitted to practice law in the Pennsylvania, New Jersey, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. In 2018, he was selected as a “Rising Star” by Pennsylvania Super Lawyers, and was elected as the Board Member (Labor) for the Philadelphia Chapter of the Labor and Employment Relations Association.
