Christine Kumar joined O’Donoghue & O’Donoghue as an associate in January 2024. Ms. Kumar represents and provides counsel to the firm’s union and employee benefit fund clients in a broad range of legal matters, including matters arising under the National Labor Relations Act, Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act, the Employee Retirement Income Security Act and other federal statutes and regulations.

Prior to her joining O’Donoghue, Ms. Kumar worked as an associate attorney at a plaintiffs’ side employment law firm and at the Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia. At Legal Aid, Ms. Kumar did public benefits work and was also heavily involved in Legal Aid DC’s organizing campaign.

Ms. Kumar graduated from the George Washington University Law School in 2020. During law school, Ms. Kumar was a member of the Moot Court Board and Notes Editor for the Federal Communications Law Journal. Ms. Kumar received her B.A. from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. She is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and New Jersey.
