April Pullium joined O’Donoghue & O’Donoghue as an Associate in September 2022. Prior to joining the firm, she practiced union-side labor law and litigated for five years at another Washington, D.C. firm.

Ms. Pullium has represented unions and employee benefit funds before federal and state courts in proceedings arising under a wide range of laws. She also has represented unions before the NLRB and state administrative agencies, as well as in arbitrations. Her practice also includes advising clients on various issues under federal and state law, particularly in connection with union organizing campaigns.

Before beginning her labor law practice, Ms. Pullium served a law clerk to the Honorable Ronald Lee Gilman of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit for the 2016-2017 term. She graduated second in her class from The George Washington University Law School in 2016. During law school, she served as a Managing Editor of The George Washington Law Review and earned the Jennie Hassler Wallburn Award for excellence in Civil Procedure. Ms. Pullium graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2013 with highest honors in English, after winning the English Department’s annual award for the most outstanding senior honors thesis.

She is admitted to practice in Virginia and the District of Columbia. She is also a member of the bars of numerous federal district and appellate courts, as well as the United States Supreme Court.
